Clara Chang is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. She earned her B.A. from Barnard College where she studied Environmental Science. Clara is interested in developing novel methods to understand distinct sedimentary processes in both the deep past and present day. In this talk, Clara will discuss new work she is conducting with Dr. Dorothy Peteet and others at LDEO in Piermont Marsh. In this project, we use sediment cores, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and other methods to understand how the Hudson Valley will be impacted by changing sea levels.

This research is sponsored by the Margaret A. Davidson Fellowship.
